For Immediate Release
July 6, 2017
Vancouver, BC – Due to serious health issues that has hospitalized lead singer Kenny Shields, we are sad to announce that Kenny Shields & Streetheart will be unable to perform at Rock Ambleside Park music festival on August 18th as originally scheduled.  The Canadian band has been forced to cancel their entire 2017 schedule.

On behalf of Ambleside Live and Rock 101 we wish Kenny Shields a fast and full recovery.

We would also like to announce that that the Juno-award winning Canadian classic rock trio the Stampeders have joined the festival line-up in the absence of Kenny Shields and Streetheart. With three gold albums to their credit and the 1971 chart topping hit “Sweet City Woman,” the Stampeders are a welcome addition to this year’s line-up.

Tickets are still available for the August 18-20 event at Ambleside Park in West Vancouver. For more information please visit and for ticket information please contact or call 1-866-514-5050.
