AMBLESIDE LIVE!

AMBLESIDE LIVE!

The Graham Lee Family Foundation conceived the concept and partnered with the Sarah McLachlan Foundation and Nettwerk Music Group, to create the first outdoor concert experience of the summer of 2009 at Ambleside Live! The headliners were Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow and Neil Young.

Since the first successful event at Ambleside Live! in West Vancouver, the venue has hosted Canadian and international artists including Kenny Chesney, Ed Sheeran, Teagan and Sara, FUN, Colbie Caillat, and Sugarland. The Graham Lee Family Foundation is the main benefactor and its intent is to use its music promotion experience and create a sustainable annual outdoor concert series that brings music and culture to communities and also helps create more economic activity to the local businesses. Working with other foundations such as the Sarah McLachlan Foundation also brings music to the lives of young Canadians by creating free music programs to youth in under-privileged areas. The goal is to use the power of music to help build self-esteem, and foster creativity. Net proceeds from these events will be invested back into the communities which have supported the event.
